MASFSA Members,
Hello and welcome to the seventh year of the MASFSA organization. Old and new members both share memories of learning and networking with sister schools and educational industry leaders that specialize in offering solutions tailored to our specific needs. So fondly we remember the leadership of the past and look forward to trailblazing events in the future. Each year MASFSA is better and brighter. MASFSA 2010-11 will strive to take advantage of technology in new ways. Thanks to all of our members that visited our “Facebook” page and submitted responses to the electronic survey. Continue to visit MASFSA “Facebook” for featured members and schools. MASFSA’s listserve will continue to offer answers to “How is it done at your institution?”,and postings for career opportunities.
Even as this letter is being typed, the board members are meeting to start preparations for the MASFSA May 22-24, 2011 Conference. MASFSA 2011 will be hosted in the “State Capital of Michigan” at Michigan State University in Lansing. MASFSA is planning informative, leadership, professional development and group building sessions. MASFSA is looking to build our ranks through membership drives that will focus on school contact through electronic and paper mailings. Look for the MASFSA newsletter and send articles about the happenings at your school. Please keep in touch with your counterparts that you networked with at the Traverse City 2010 MASFSA conference, and keep us posted on process improvements at your college. MASFSA wants to know the exceptional vendors that stand out throughout the school year. Tell us what services vendors offered to help you succeed in making changes happen that created synergy and improved processes.
Warmest regards,
Rhonda Johnson, MASFSA 2010 President |
